Yesterday, the LG was playing.....and the room was unusually silent. Being busy with something, I didn't pay much heed. After a while, she came to me, and showed me a plate of "salad" that she had made for herself. Oreo, Krackjack and Sunfeast biscuits mixed with chaat masala, peanuts, Kellogs chocos and asafoetida. I think I overdid the ooh-ing and aah-ing and generally exclaiming how wonderful it all looked because she immediately said she would make a salad for me too. Not wanting to dampen her spirit, I agreed. Luckily, this time round, she chose to use cucumber, tomatoes, chaat masala, Italian soup seasoning and peanuts.
And then, she presented it to me a-la Masterchef style, with a fork and spoon and also wanted me to "judge" it. After a few spoonfuls, with her teaching me the right way to eat a salad, I pronounced the verdict - Crunchy, Refreshing and Delicious.
